Mobi

I was taking pictures of the tiger cubs when I saw some movement in the exhibit to the left. I looked over, and what do you know, our Clouded Leopard was out and walking about. For those that don't know, Clouded Leopards are solitary creatures that spend a majority of their time hiding from... well, everything. As if that weren't enough, their coat helps them camouflage, which makes finding them about 10 times harder.

Even though I've been to the zoo several times, I've only ever seen the top of Mobi's head because it's not in his nature to walk around in the open. Needless to say, I just about tripped over my own two feet trying to grab some pictures before he went back into hiding. There was no need to rush though, as he stayed out for a good 10 or 15 minutes. I even saw him walking about when I went back two days later.
