Sassy Taz

Taz, the silverback of the family group, is usually very serious. You can find him sitting up straight, carefully watching over the group to make sure there's peace, and to make sure there are no outside threats to the family (not a matter that he actually has to worry about at the zoo!). However, Taz can be a goofball sometimes. On this particular day, he felt like modeling for everyone, and went all out with the theatrics. He even pouted a little bit.

Taz has seven offspring, all of whom were born at the zoo. The youngest is Andi, who is only about three weeks old.
